Si en addSensor 004 "Control 49" reflexionábamos sobre el debate Seguridad vs Libertad, en addSensor 011 continuamos el debate y vamos más allá, desarrollando una aplicación de geolocalización de cámaras de videovigilancia a través de google maps, la cual permite a todo el que lo desee colaborar, en el mapeado de estas medidas de seguridad. Este proyecto es más que una aplicación web, ya que viene acompañada de una instalación situada en Medialab Prado de Madrid durante la primavera de 2008, una video-acción llevada a cabo en la madrileña Plaza Mayor de Madrid y toda una serie de material informativo y generador de reflexiones.
La seguridad, el miedo, el condicionamiento de la conducta y el espacio público siguen siendo los protagonistas de un debate que continuará evolucionando.
If we reflected on debate on Security vs. Freedom in the previous addSensor 004 "Control 49", we continued the debate and went further in addSensor 011_ project, thanks to the collaboration of many great programmers we develop a video surveillance geolocation application using google maps, which allows anyone who's willing to collaborate to map these security measures.
This project is more ambitious than being just a web application. It is accompanied by an installation at Medialab Prado during the spring of 2008, a video-action carried out in Plaza Mayor in Madrid and a whole range of information and concepts. Security, fear, behavioral conditioning and public space remain the main
subjects in a debate that will continue to evolve.

Si la fotografía permite registrar de forma permanente la imagen visible de un objeto a través de una cámara oscura por acción de la luz sobre un material sensible, las imágenes producidas en estas galerías no son visibles en la realidad. Estas galerías son imágenes latentes producto de una realidad desfigurada, y que solamente cobran sentido cuando se produce un proceso de transformación, semejante al proceso químico de la fotografía tradicional, configurando una forma a partir de esa información.
Para dar un significado a una imagen, necesitamos identificar los elementos de la composición recibidos a través de nuestros canales sensoriales. Según la gestalt nuestro cerebro tiende a desmembrar la imagen en distintas partes agrupándolas según su forma, tamaño, color, que a su vez serán reorganizadas según una serie de principios como la proximidad, la semejanza y el equilibrio entre las mismas, tendiendo a simplificar al máximo lo que percibimos y creando así un nuevo conjunto grafico que posibilita la compresión del significado expuesto. Esto es, la Forma no esta determinada por sus elementos individuales sino por la naturaleza de su totalidad.
If photography allows one to register permanently the visible image of an object through a dark camera by the effect of light on a sensitive material, the produced images in these galleries are not really visible. These galleries are latent images, product of a distorted reality and are only understood when there is a transformation process, similiar to the chemical process of traditional photography, shaping a form from that information.
To give meaning to an image we need to identify the elements of the composition received through our sensory channels. According to Gestalt our brain tends to break up the image into different parts and group them according to their form, size,colour and organize them again according to a series of principles like proximity, similarity and balance between them, tending to simplify to the utmost what we perceive , and thus creating a new graphic group which allows the understanding of the meaning displayed. That is, the form is not determinated by its individual elements, but rather by its nature in its entirety.

'Nova data' muestra la faceta más experimental de Noi en una pieza de audio de 21 min mezclando tensión e hipnosis a tiempo real.
New data have been detected by addsensor. A worrying succession of frecuencies with cinematographic resemblance that creates a constant and subtle horror-film-like atmosphere. 'Nova data' shows the most experimental side of Noi, in a 21 minutes piece of audio recording, mixing hypnosis and tension on real-time.

La obsesión por el control del ambiente, y más concretamente por su porcentaje de humedad, ha guiado este trabajo de Javier Rubio.
Ha usado su entorno como materia prima e inspiración, recreando digitalmente sensaciones y realidades.
Esta quinta referencia de ++sensor se compone de cuatro exquisitas canciones en las que se combinan grabaciones de campo con la modulación de síntesis FM, dando como resultado unas cuidadísimas estructuras de sonido llenas de delicados crujidos y embriagadoras melodías.
His worry on enviroment control, and more specifically about humidity porcentage,
has guided this work by Javier Rubio.
He has used his enviroment as raw material and inspiration, digitally reproducing
sensations and realities.
This sensor fith reference is made up of four delicious songs in wich field recordings, together with FM synthesis modulation are combined resulting in very thoughtful sound structures full of delicate rustles and enchanting melodies.

Nuestra vida esta más controlada que nunca, diariamente muchos de nuestros actos y hábitos son registrados como información (reservar una habitación de hotel, utilizar nuestra tarjeta de crédito, enseñar el DNI... ). Ahora a estos datos generados por estos actos ya se les pueden poner imágenes. El aumento incontrolado de cámaras de vigilancia en nuestra sociedad y más concretamente en nuestra cuidad, Madrid, nos ha hecho cuestionar hasta qué punto somos observados, y con qué fines se usa esa información. Este aumento ha evolucionado más rápidamente que la legislación vigente, y surge un antiguo debate entre la libertad individual frente a la “seguridad”.
En esta referencia addSensor_004 hemos querido mostrar mediante fotografías, esta inquietante sensación de ser vigilados de la cual habitualmente no somos conscientes.
Esta galería fotográfica esta complementada con una serie de links de información en referencia a la videovigilacia, y con enlaces directos a cientos de cámaras que pueden ser vistas por cualquier persona a través de Internet.
Nowadays, today more than never, our life style is undercontrol, everyday many of activities or habits that we used to do are registered such and information,like booking in a hotel, credit cards or ID card. Now all this information could be have images on it, actually they have. The out of control rise of security cameras in our society,for instance in Madrid, one of the rise increased, we ask ourselves, wich is the reason involved and until we are observed point,one important thing with that finish this information is in use. This increased of information has developed faster than the acts and legislation and the endless discuss arises enter the freedom of the individual opposite to the safety of the same one.
In that reference, addSensor 004 we would like to show throught photographies, this worring sensation of being monitoried that we are not conscious.
